I am finding it much more challenging to work on my own pictures because I do not know what
the settings are and I have to experiment. I seem to be going in the wrong direction
with this first one. I wasn't going to post it because it is so bad, but this is how we learn.

Well, I am not sure where I went wrong with this one. I started out with the original image again and attempted the manual corrections, and I personally think it looks worse than the one corrected automatically. |

This is one of the very few pictures we have of my Mom and her sister taken in 1966. |
I used the beach example to work with this one and am pleased with how much better it looks. |

This is my dad, taken sometime in the 60's in Jamaica. It's unfortunate that the original is so bad. |
I do think it looks a bit better. I believe I used the beach and the cook to try and correct this. I also used blur/soften once. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement or no hope. LOL |
