I found the scracth removal technique amazing. However, I need to improve my freehand selection to make it better. If my selection was too large, I modified and contracted the selection which seemed to work ok.

At first, I did not think there was much hope for this picture. I wonder how many like this I might not of kept? LOL |
This was a great technique for getting the most out of this picture. Add a frame and it's ready to send out to the family. |

I have definitely seen good examples of this effect. In most cases, I deleted them. |
No more deleting, now they can be fixed up so you can at least use them. In addition to following the lesson, I did a blur, soften to take a few of the edges off and an automatic color enhance for fun, and I like the way the sky turned out. : ) |

When I first saw this image, I thought to myself, "Surely Linda does not expect us to repair this? " LOL |
This was a wonderful lesson and I had not used the scratch removal tool before. WOW. |

OH NO, another difficult fix. |
Well, that wasn't bad at all. I wonder if maybe a bit of sepia might of given the background a little bit more of an aged look. I will try it next time before saving it. |
I hope to get to a few of my own photos to try repairing. If I do, I will post the page to the list.
Thanks for another great lesson.
