I played with some of the tools, including the One Step Photo Fix, I am sure that is going to be invaluable. I did no other adjustments such as sharpen or unsharpen mask, and I'm pleased with both the manual corrections and the one step photo fix.

I found typing difficult on the graphic, the preview screen is way behind you, and there is a lag. Maybe I'll get used to it. I am sure I could turn off the preview, but that defeats the purpose IMHO. The other new text features are fine, although I was satisfied with the PSP 7 text features.

The transparent background gif I made for the title was very dithery in PSP 8. I made it in PSP 7, with identical settings and it turned out much better. So, I used 7 for the .gif.

I made the backgrounds for this page using the new seamless filter in PSP. I am very pleased with it. For the lightest background I also used the new Balls and Bubbles and randomized till I got this muted effect. The second background was also made all in PSP 8, but I don't remember what I did to get the effect except for using the seamless tile and the kaleidiscope. hmmmmmm.

Sally, I had to laugh in the lesson when you mentioned something about the new "reset" button.... : ) I think it took me the longest to find that as any of the tools. LOL
